I bought an old cabinet that was painted too "fresh" and some tall chimney bookcases as well. I want the paint to look worn and layered (I think some painting and stripping will be involved?)

I am planning on redecorating my room. Right now I have mostly black things like my shelves is black, my coffee table is black, my bookcase is black, and my wall is actually cream white. I cant change that because my parents are just renting the house and we cant put paint on it. So now, I am thinking to where can I get some stuffs with pink and brown or pink and black on it. My sofa bed’s color is grayish black. Carpet is dark green. Can anyone please tell me where can I get some stuffs? Thank You so much for the help!
I don’t have a bed. I only have a sofa bed that I can turn into a bed if I want to. But then since I don’t sleep that much its always on its sofa position. I can probably get some small pillows to go with it. I also would like to know where to get some drapes for my window. Also does anyone of you know where I can buy some posters and all that? I am a big fan of Tinkerbell.
Excluding the price of power tools, but including the price of wood, and nails, screws, glue, sand paper, paint, etc.
As reference, I can get a 5 shelf bookcase for .99 or 4 shelf bookcase for .64.
How much would it cost to make a 5 or 4 shelf bookcase?
can i just buy a paint from bunnnings and paint straight over the top of it?
I have a blonde wood bookcase that I would love to turn black, but I don’t want it to be permanant. I want to be able to re-use the bookcase in another room without having to through the whole process of stripping the paint and refinishing it. Any easy ideas for me?
I do the accounting for a woodworking business. I understand that materials such as wood and paint and the factory labor are costs of good sold. I am also pretty sure that the factory machinery and tools that we use are not necessarily costs of goods sold. For me, the gray area is the little things like sandpaper and the rags that we use to wipe on the stains. We go through a lot of these and it’s a pretty big expense. I just want to make sure they are accounted for correctly.
